San Jose, Calif. -- Concerto Software, a Connecticut-based provider of contact
center communications technology, said that it has completed its merger with
San Jose-based Aspect Communications, a call center technology company. The
transaction has an estimated total value of about $1 billion. The combined
company, called Aspect Software, is owned by private equity firm Golden Gate
Capital, Oak Investment Partners, company management and others. Aspect
Software said that it anticipates about $600 million in annual revenue, with
more than 5,000 customers and a presence in about 50 countries.
