Fremont-based Fiberstars Expands Relationship with ADLT

Fremont, Calif. -- Fiberstars, a Fremont-based maker of fiber optic
lighting systems, said on Friday that it has entered into a series of deals to
expand its relationship with Ohio's Advanced Lighting Technologies
(ADLT). With the agreements, Fiberstars is hoping to expand the market
for its energy efficient lighting system. ADLT plans to use the company's
technology to develop new metal halide lamp products. The
announcement comes four days after Fiberstars announced plans to sell
2.5 million of its shares in a public offering.
