Novato, Calif. -- Looking to expand its product offerings fore the real estate market,
Siterra, a Novato-based provider of web-based software for project, document and
property management, said on Tuesday that it has acquired Massachusetts-based
WorkplaceIQ (WPIQ), a maker of software for the commercial real estate markets.
Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. WPIQ makes lease management
software that is used by hundreds of retailers and corporations to help lower the cost
of their lease administration processes. The company's software is currently used to
manage more than 6 billion square feet and 250,000 leased and owned facilities
around the world.
