San Mateo-Based NetSuite Ranks No. 2 in New Deloitte Fast 500

San Mateo, Calif. -- NetSuite, a San Mateo-based developer of business
management applications, is the highest-ranked local company on the
newly released Deloitte Technology Fast 500, which annually recognizes
the 500 fastest-growing technology companies in the U.S. and Canada
based on their five-year revenue growth. The company ranked No. 2
overall -- trailing only San Diego-based NuVasive -- with revenue growth
of 43,327% during the period. In all, more than 50 Bay Area companies
made the list, led by San Mateo-based NexTag (No. 12), Mountain View-
based Google (No. 14), Pleasanton-based Zantaz (No. 28), Emeryville-
based EVault (No. 33), Santa Clara-based Magma Design Automation
(No. 36), San Jose-based 2Wire (No. 51), Emeryville-based ZipRealty
(No. 59), Alameda-based Avigen (No. 66), Sunnyvale-based Kyphon
(No. 75), Mountain View-based NetLogic Microsystems (No. 89), San
Francisco-based Taleo (No. 93) and Santa Clara-based Align Technology
