Santa Clara, Calif. -- Telsima, a Santa Clara-based developer of
converged network technologies, said on Wednesday that it has raised
$20 million in its third round of funding, led by NewPath Ventures. New
investors New Enterprise Associates, CMEA Ventures and JAFCO Asia
also participated. Telsima's broadband wireless access products, used
most heavily in India, combine system-on-a-chip designs with smart
antenna and radio frequency systems. The combination allows operators
to deploy broadband wireless services in dense urban, suburban and rural
environments.
