Menlo Park-Based BitPass Acquires San Francisco-Based Yaga

Menlo Park, Calif. -- BitPass, a Menlo Park-based developer of a
platform that helps digital content providers monetize their online
offerings, said that it has acquired Yaga, a San Francisco-based developer
of payment and accounting software for content providers, for an
undisclosed sum. BitPass will gain Yaga's technology platform,
intellectual property and customer contracts, as well as all of its
employees. Yaga's customers include United Media, Ziff Davis Media,
Time and CanWest Global Communications.
