San Francisco -- Splunk, a San Francisco-based developer of search software for IT data, said on Tuesday that it has secured $10 million in its second round of funding, led by JK&B Capital. Previous investors August Capital and Sevin Rosen Funds also participated. Splunk said that more than 15,000 system administrators, developers and support engineers have downloaded its software since its launch in August. The software is designed to more quickly troubleshoot problems, improve service quality and reduce the cost of responding to incidents.
