Redwood Shores, Calif. -- Saba, a Redwood Shores-based maker of human resource management software, said that shareholders from both companies have approved its $60 million acquisition of Massachusetts-based Centra Software, a maker of online learning and training software. Saba said that the deal should strengthen its position in the corporate learning software market. The combined company will have about 1,100 clients. The deal, first announced in October, is expected to close by the end of January.
