Mountain View, Calif. -- Podbridge, a Mountain View-based provider of targeted ad delivery technology for podcasts, said that it has officially launched its service. The company's founder and CEO, Murgesh Navar, told Dow Jones' VentureWire that it has raised between $10- $12 million in venture capital funding, from Mayfield Fund and Worldview Technology Partners. Podbridge said that it already has partnered with the BBC, Military.com and several Clear Channel radio stations, which will be able to track ad listens, place ads by demographics and location, rotate multiple ads and manage budgets. The company said that Ronning Lipset Radio has signed on to be its exclusive third-party agent, charged with selling audio spots on the Podbridge network.
