San Mateo, Calif. -- Jeff McFadden, the former CEO of Claira, on Friday was named as the new CEO of San Mateo-based M-Factor, a maker of investment management systems for consumer marketing organizations. He replaces company founder Phil Delurgio, who will remain on the company's CTO, as well as on its board. McFadden co-founded Claira in 1998, and previously served as the vice president of business development at Excite. Delurgio said that the move gives M-Factor the kind of executive management experience it needs to lead its aggressive growth plan. "His ability to build out a premier organization and grow technology businesses is precisely what we need," said Delurgio.
