San Carlos, Calif. -- DiCarta, a San Carlos-based developer of contract management software, said on Monday that it will merge with Emptoris, a Massachusetts-based provider of supply management software. Financial terms between the two privately held firms were not disclosed. The combined company will have about 360 employees and will continue operations under the Emptoris name, with its headquarters in Burlington, Mass. DiCarta's California offices also will be maintained.
