San Francisco-Based Three Rings Design Raises Venture Capital

San Francisco - Three Rings Design, a San Francisco-based developer of multiplayer online casual games, said that it has raised an undisclosed amount in its second round of venture capital financing. Mercury Capital Partners and Amicus Capital co-led the round, with the Arba Group and angel investor Stewart Alsop also participating. Three Rings' titles, such as "Bang Howdy" and "Puzzle Pirates," are free to play but charge users for purchases of items used within the games. The company will use the funds for expansion and new product development.
