Menlo Park, Calif. -- Trinity Ventures, a Menlo Park-based venture capital firm, has led a new $10 million funding round for Maryland-based Netcordia, a maker of network analysis tools, the company said on Monday. Previous investor Novak Biddle Venture Partners also participated in the round, which increased the company's total backing to $13 million. Netcordia said that it will use the new capital to further accelerate its product development in the network management space, as well as expand global distribution. The company is the developer of a network analysis appliance, designed to allow network engineers to quickly pinpoint and fix network trouble spots.
