San Jose, Calif. -- Intelleflex, a San Jose-based developer of radio frequency identification (RFID) technology, said on Thursday that it has raised $15.5 million in its second round of funding, led by Menlo Park-based Morgenthaler Ventures. Previous investors Woodside Fund, Alloy Ventures and Selby Venture Partners also participated. the company said that it plans to use a portion of the proceeds to ramp up production and extend its line of RFID tags and readers. Intelleflex had previously raised $11.3 million in its first round, which it used to develop new tags with ranges in excess of 100 meters.
