Cupertino, Calif. -- Iamba Networks, a Cupertino-based developer of optical technology that allows carriers and service providers to introduce new services over the access network, has raised $8 million in its second round of venture capital, Israeli business publication Globes reported. Cedar Fund led the round, which also included participation from previous investors Giza Venture Capital and Pitango Venture Capital. The company, which has a development center in Israel, reportedly has now raised a total of $24 million since its founding in 2000. The company has 30 employees.
