Menlo Park, Calif. -- Leader Ventures, a Menlo Park-based private investment firm, said on Tuesday that it has launched a new $300 million fund to provide debt and equity funding to venture-backed information technology and life sciences companies. Leader, which since 2001 has worked closely with venture lending firm Dominion Capital Management, said that it will continue to invest in companies at all stages of development, primarily in the U.S. Portfolio companies include AdvancedMD, Enpocket and Vocera. The firm also has offices in Atlanta and Boston.
