San Jose-Based Cisco Names Rebecca Jacoby as New CIO

San Jose, Calif. -- Cisco Systems, the San Jose-based network equipment giant, said on Tuesday that it has promoted Rebecca Jacoby to senior vice president and CIO. Jacoby was previously the company's vice president of customer service and operational systems. During her 11 year tenure with the company, she has held a variety of leadership positions, and was a charter member of Cisco's Business Process Operations Committee (BPOC), where she played a vital role in re-engineering several Cisco processes.
