Menlo Park-Based Protiviti Launches New Unit, Acquires Enspier Technologies

Menlo Park, Calif. -- Protiviti, a Menlo Park-based provider of business and technology risk consulting and internal audit services, said on Monday that its newly formed public sector unit has acquired Enspier Technologies, a Virginia-based provider of technology and consulting services to government clients. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. Enspier will retain its name and continue to be based in its current location, with all of its 57 employees retaining their jobs. The new Virginia-based unit, called Protiviti Government Services, will cater to federal, state and local government clients. The company said that the acquisition will enhance its offerings that help clients bolster their identity management processes and better utilize online and security-related technologies.
