Mountain View, Calif. -- Electric Cloud, a Mountain View-based developer of software production development tools, said that it has raised $9 million in its third round of funding, led by Rembrandt Venture Partners. All of the company's previous investors -- Mayfield Fund, RRE Ventures and U.S. Venture Partners -- also participated in the round, which the company plans to use to expand . its product development, sales and marketing activities. The company has raised a total of $22.1 million to date. Electric Cloud said that its products allow software developers to reduce build times, improve engineering productivity and go to market faster.
