Sunnyvale, Calif. -- Blaze DFM, a Sunnyvale-based provider of software to fabless semiconductor companies, integrated device manufacturers and silicon foundries, said on Tuesday that it will merge with Santa Clara-based competitor Aprio Technologies. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. The merged company will retain the name Blaze DFM, and will be headquartered at Blaze's current location in Sunnyvale. The company will retain Aprio's international offices in Japan and Taiwan. Blaze also has an office in San Diego. The deal is expected to close in the next few weeks.
