Mountain View-Based Tumri Raises $10 Million in Second Round

Mountain View, Calif. -- Tumri, the Mountain View-based operator of a merchandising and advertising network, said on Monday that it has raised $10 million in its second round of funding, led by Lehman Brothers Venture Partners. Previous investors Shasta Ventures and Accel Partners also participated. The company said that it will use the proceeds to further support its sales, marketing and product development initiatives. Tumri's advertising network includes a wide swath of online media outlets and products from retailers including Zappos, Macy's, Wal-Mart and Sears. The company on Monday also named David Kim as its senior vice president of business development and Sandeep Nawathe as its vice president of engineering.
