San Francisco -- Vadver, a San Francisco-based developer of video search technology based on user recommendations, has raised $1.7 million in its first round of funding from Draper Fisher Jurvetson, NewTeeVee reported. Vadver was founded in January, and has yet to launch its video discovery service.
