San Jose-Based eOn Communications Invests in Symbio Group

San Jose, Calif. -- The Symbio Group, a Maryland-based provider of software development, testing and globalization outsourcing services related to China, said that it has landed a new equity investment from San Jose-based eOn Communications, a provider of communications products and services for businesses. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. The investment is part of a larger partnership between the two companies. Symbio said that it plans to utilize eOn's technology, platforms and contact center experience to help multinational clients establish support operations in the Asia Pacific region. Symbio also will provide software and support outsourcing services to eOn, as well as its partners and its clients.
