San Jose-Based Nascentric Raises $7.2 Million in Third Round
San Jose, Calif. -- Nascentric, a developer of simulation and analysis tools used in electronic design automation, said on Wednesday that it has raised $7.2 million in its third round of funding. Participants included new investor Intel Capital and previous investors Austin Ventures, Silverton Partners and Needham Capital, as well as EDA veteran Jim Solomon. "This funding round will enable us to expand our product capabilities as well as expand our worldwide sales and support capability," said Rahm Shastry, the president and CEO of Nascentric.
