Santa Clara, Calif. -- Ness Technologies, a New Jersey-based provider of information technology services, said on Wednesday that it has acquired MS9 Consulting, a Santa Clara-based IT services company, for $11.4 million. The cost of the deal could rise, depending on MS9's performance over the next two years. MS9, founded in 2004, offers technology products and services to healthcare organizations. The company was profitable in 2006, with revenue of more than $13 million. "This acquisition expands our service portfolio and strengthens our presence in the healthcare and pharmaceutical markets," said Sachi Gerlitz, the president and CEO of Ness Technologies.
