Palo Alto, Calif. -- Voltage Security, a Palo Alto-based provider of encryption security technology, on Monday announced that it has raised $12 million in its fourth round of venture capital, led by Trident Capital. Founded in 2002, Voltage offers products designed to protect sensitive information. The company said that it had a revenue increase of about 80% for the twelve months ended in June and positive cash flow in the first six months of 2007. Other investors in the company's latest investment deal include Hummer Winblad Venture Partners, Morgenthaler Ventures, Menlo Ventures, Cipio Partners and JAFCO Ventures.
