Cupertino, Calif. -- Cupertino-Based Apple plans to introduce a 3G version of its iPhone sometime next year, according to Randall Stephenson, the CEO of AT&T, Bloomberg reported. Stephenson added that Apple CEO Steve Jobs "will dictate what the price of the phone is." The current version of the iPhone in the U.S. operates on AT&T's EDGE network, which provides mobile web access that is decidedly slower than a 3G connection. Apple sold 1.4 million iPhones through September, and expects to sell 10 million worldwide next year.
