Redwood City, Calif. -- Gigle Semiconductor, a Redwood City-based developer of multimedia home networking chips, said on Tuesday that it has raised $20 million in its second round of funding, led by a new investor SEP. Previous investors Accel Partners and Pond Venture Partners also participated in the round, which the company plans to use to support the development and launch of its integrated circuits. which Gigle said will allow users to use any wire -- powerline, coax or phone line -- for home networking. The company also has offices in Spain and the U.K.
