San Francisco-Based Northstar Systems Raises $18 Million

San Francisco -- NorthStar Systems International, a developer of wealth management software for financial services institutions, said that it has raised $18 million in a new round of venture capital from new and previous investors. The company said that it will use the funds to boost its product development, marketing and sales activities. In connection, NorthStar said that it has added several new members to its \board of directors, including Todd Goergen, the managing partner of the Ropart Asset Management Funds; Bill Guttman, an investment partner at TL Ventures; Jay Wolf, managing partner at Trinad Capital; and Collin Cohen, the president of NorthStar.
