Sunnyvale, Calif. -- Quantenna Communications, a Sunnyvale-based start-up developing chipsets for wireless technology, said on Tuesday that it has raised $12.7 million in its second round of funding, led by new investor Sigma Partners. New investor Grazia Equity and previous investors Sequoia Capital and Venrock Associates also participated in the round, which increased the company's total funding to $25 million. Quantenna's management team is led by Behrooz Rezvani, the founder of Ikanos Communications. and Andrea Goldsmith, a professor of electrical engineering at Stanford University.
