San Francisco -- WebSky, a San Francisco-based developer of broadband spectrum, said on Tuesday that it has sold its Argentine subsidiary to San Diego-based NextWave Wireless, a provider of mobile broadband products and technologies. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. WebSky Argentina operates Infotel Argentina and Callbi, companies whose assets include telecommunications licenses and an aggregate of 42 MHz of spectrum covering the Buenos Aires metro region. WebSky also said that it has signed a deal with NextWave Argentina to support its operations in the country.
