Campbell-Based Tela Innovations Lands Investment from Intel Capital

Campbell, Calif. -- Tela Innovations, a Campbell-based technology start-up developing technology for semiconductor design and manufacturing, said that it has received an investment from Intel Capital, the venture capital arm of Santa Clara-based chipmaker Intel, as part of its second round of funding. New investor AsiaTech Management and several of the company's previous investors also participated. The company did not disclose financial terms of the round, which it plans to use to bring to market its technology for the more efficient design and manufacturer of next-generation chips. Tela said that its approach uses pre-defined physical topologies to help overcome the limitations of current design and lithography techniques.
