Emeryville, Calif. -- Ravenflow, a developer of validation tools used by software developers, said on Tuesday that it has raised $5 million in funding and hired Susan Boers as its new president and CEO. Investors included Alloy Ventures, Palomar Ventures and the Roda Group. Boers, the former president of Telelogic North America, succeeds Joe Marasco, who will remain on the company's board of directors. All told, Boers spent more than 14 years with Telelogic. The news follows a year in which the company tripled its annual sales, compared with 2006.
