San Francisco -- SendMe Mobile, a San Francisco-based developer of a mobile media platform and operator of three destination sites, said on Tuesday that it has landed $15 million in its third round of funding, led by new investor GrandBanks Capital. Previous investors True Ventures and Spark Capital also participated in the round, which the company will use to continue promoting its three core web sites -- SendMeMobile.com, SoLow.com and mBuzzy.com. The company said that it also plans to add new premium and community-generated content, services and applications. Over the past year, two-year-old SendMe has signed major content deals with Corbis, EMI Music, Glu, Telcogames, Gameloft, IODA, Sony Pictures Television and The Orchard.
