San Jose, Calif. -- Intacct, a San Jose-based developer of web-based financial software, said on Tuesday that it has raised $15 million in a new round of funding led by Bessemer Venture Partners. Previous investors Emergence Capital, Sigma Partners and Sutter Hill Ventures also participated in the round. The company, which also raised $14 million in around that closed last June, provides web-based financial management and accounting applications to small and midsize businesses. Mike Braun, the president and CEO of Intacct, said that the company will use the additional funding to expand into additional vertical markets and channels.
