Mountain View, Calif. -- Goodmail Systems, a Mountain View-based developer of technology designed to let consumers easily identify authentic email messages from legitimate commercial and nonprofit senders, on Monday named Peter Horan as its new CEO. Horan most recently served as the CEO of IAC Media and Advertising, and previously was the CEO of Allbusiness.com, About.com and DevX.com. "Peter has a proven track record pioneering new advertising platforms and creating innovative ways of driving online consumer engagement," said Daniel Dreymann, the president and co-founder of Goodmail. Horan will lead the introduction of the company's new advertising platform for email inboxes.
