San Francisco-Based Bleacher Report Partners with Fox Sports

San Francisco -- Four months after officially launching its community-driven online sports network, San Francisco-based Bleacher Report said on Friday that it has forged a new partnership with Fox Sports. Through the agreement, Fox Sports feature original Bleacher Report content on its foxsports.com site, alongside content from its own writers. Bleacher Report said that the deal is the first in a series of partnerships that it expects to announce as it continues to syndicate its content to other sources. So far, more than 4,000 writers have contributed a total of 30,000 original stories for the site since September. The company was founded by Dave Finocchio, Alexander Freund, Bryan Goldberg and Dave Nemetz, who believed that the mainstream sports media didn't offer the range or depth of coverage to satisfy diehards of college and pro teams. It is backed by Hillsven Capital, Transcoast Capital several private investors.
