Santa Clara, Calif. -- BridgeWave Communications, a Santa Clara-based maker of gigabit wireless products, said on Wednesday that it has raised $10 million in its fourth round of funding, co-led by Core Capital Partners and Intel Capital. The company will use the round to develop and market new products that support next generation wireless networks. Launched in 1999, BridgeWave makes high-speed wireless communications links that provide an alternative to installing fiber cabling to connect local area networks between buildings, as well as to connect buildings to network backbones.
