San Mateo, Calif. -- Boomi, a Pennsylvania-based provider of integration services to web-based software vendors, with West Coast operations in San Mateo, said that it has raised $4 million in its first institutional round of financing. FirstMark Capital led the round, which the company will use to accelerate its go-to-market strategy. The company's Boomi on Demand service is designed to connect any combination of web-based and on-premises applications without the need to for software packages or hardware appliances. The service is currently used by clients such as SmartTurn, salesforce.com, Taleo and Zuora.
