San Jose, Calif. -- Integrated Device Technology (IDT), a developer of mixed signal semiconductor used in digital media, said on Tuesday that it has acquired video processing technology and related assets from Silicon Optix. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. The assets include the Hollywood Quality Video (HQV) brand and the Reon product line, as well as related employees. IDT plans to operate the business as part of its video and display operation. The new division will be primarily located in Silicon Optix's existing Toronto facility.
