San Jose, Calif. -- The Tech Museum of Innovation on Wednesday night presented five individuals with its annual Tech Awards, which honor those using technology "to improve our world." The five winners, who each received $50,000 cash prizes, hail from the U.S., Namibia, the U.K. and India, each developing or adapting technology in creative ways to solve global problems.
