Palo Alto, Calif. -- Globant, an Argentina-based software development firm with U.S. offices in Palo Alto, said on Tuesday that it has raised $13 million in new funding from Menlo Park's Riverwood Capital and San Francisco's FTVentures. The company said that it will use a portion of the proceeds to support its acquisition plan throughout Latin America, the U.S. and Europe. Globant, which has nearly 1,000 employees, develops software for such clients as Electronic Arts, Coca Cola, SABRE and Citi.
