Mountain View, Calif. -- MySpace, the social networking giant owned by News Corp., has partnered with Mountain View-based Google to make its "MySpaceID" service compatible with Google's own similar Friend Connect service, the Associated Press reported. MySpaceID allows a single login to work on multiple sites., MySpace told the AP that blogs and smaller sites should now find it easier to integrate Google's service. Palo Alto-based rival Facebook also offers its own universal login service, called Facebook Connect.
