San Francisco -- Jaspersoft, a San Francisco-based developer of open source business intelligence software, said on Wednesday that it has secured $12.5 million in its fifth round of funding, led by Adams Street Partners. Open source software firm Red Hat also participated, as did previous investors Morgenthaler Ventures, DCM, Partech International, Scale Venture Partners and SAP Ventures. Jaspersoft said that it will use the proceeds to continue to scale its business operations worldwide. The company's software has been downloaded more than 7 million times, and its online collaboration forum, JasperForge, is home to more than 89,000 registered developers.
