Sunnyvale, Calif. -- Eight months after announcing a new $40 million funding round, Sunnyvale-based SiBeam, a developer of chipsets and high-speed wireless communication platforms, said on Monday that it has landed new investments from Panasonic and Samsung. Financial terms of the deals were not disclosed. The company plans to use the proceeds to continue development of its WirelessHD semiconductor products. designed for wireless high definition content transfer. New Enterprise Associates led the company's third round in April.
