Emeryville, Calif. -- TubeMogul, an Emeryville-based provider of web video distribution and analytics services, said that it has raised $3 million in its first round of funding, led by Trinity Ventures. The three-year-old company said that it will use the proceeds to grow its video distribution platform, as well as accelerate the standardization of its online video analytics. TubeMogul offers content producers a video distribution platform to syndicate their videos across the web. Customers include CBS Interactive, PBS, Warner Bros, The Onion, Intel, Home Depot and the White House. The company also provides integrated analytics on where, when, and how often the videos are viewed.
