San Francisco -- Technology blog TechCrunch and San Francisco-based venture capital firm Founders Fund on Thursday announced the launch of a new annual awards program honoring high-tech entrepreneurs. The TechFellow Awards will honor 12 recipients from a pool chosen by a nominating committee and readers of TechCrunch. Nominations opened on Thursday at the link below, with winners to be announced in June. Winners in the categories of engineering leadership, product design and marketing, general management and disruptive innovation will each receive $50,000 to invest in a new startup.
