San Francisco -- Clickthrough, a San Francisco-based developer of interactive web video tools, said that it has secured $1 million in new financing. Investors included music industry veterans Max Martin, Savan Kotecha, Nicky Byrne and Wayne Wilkins. Clickthrough's technology enables users to click on anything that appears inside of a web video, and retrieve information about the product, place or person. The company has integrated its technology into music videos, through partnerships with labels including Sony Music, Universal Music Group and Slip N Slide Records. Clickthrough also offers analytics tools to measure how consumers interact with web videos.
