San Jose, Calif. -- LogLogic, the San Jose-based developer of a platform for collecting, storing and reporting IT log data, on Wednesday named Guy Churchward as its new CEO. Churchward, most recently the vice president and general manager of NetApp's Data Protection Group, succeeds Patricia Sueltz, who held the role for two years. The company did not disclose the reason for her departure. The move comes three months after LogLogic secured $8.8 million in an extension of its fourth round of funding. The company, which now has more than 1,000 clients, said that it is looking to expand into new markets, including IT security management and database activity monitoring.
