San Jose, Calif. -- Immersion, the San Jose-based developer of touch feedback technology often used in video game controllers and other devices, said on Wednesday that Clent Richardson has resigned as its CEO to pursue other interests. The company's board has named Victor Viegas, Immersion's former CEO and a current director, to serve as interim CEO. "We would like to thank Clent for his service to Immersion and wish him well in his future endeavors," said Chairman Jack Saltich. Richardson joined Immersion in April 2008, after having served as the chief marketing officer at Alviso-based TiVo and Nortel Networks.
